Our group of friends never imagined the breathtakingly human Colleen Utsinger, my life-long soul mate, would cover her head with wigs. Only a handful of souls know she confidently masks her medical hair loss under lace wigs. You’d be surprised!
Back in the day as blossoming ladies in the hill country, we always knocked ‘em dead. Five years later, her medical hair loss took effect and her hair thinned spottily. I mentioned these synthetic wigs. Whatever, it didn’t matter much. The incredible woman fearlessly fully owned her innate beauty.
Obliged to show at our university’s roller hockey tournament, we ate nuts until some kluts clumsily threw the little ball (or whichever thing that is) at the crowd. She tried to get it when her hat fell off, unveiling her naked head. No big deal, she tossed the ball right back at him. She’s that kind of girl.
However, there’s two sides to every coin. The same summer at our semi-monhtly stroll to the art gallery, when she grabbed my arm and said that she would rather go bald out of bitterness. She loved her old hair so much she can’t even spend money on beautiful wigs, even if she knew it was a good idea. And who would have thought miss invincible became beet pink in the face and asked that I should think nothing more of it. So I did.
We got so worried about her. The next morning, I IM’d with her about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. After a long deliberation we arrived at the perfect solution: we’d buy each other wigs I used my credit card, and it was worth it.
She and I were amazed by the options. She couldn’t believe that women’s medical wigs could be so natural for people, even superstars. These wigs for women’s hair loss were marvelous. As for me, pieced together a comprehensively new set of outfits to match my synthetic wig. We do it all together, if you haven’t heard. Not long ago she gave me a photo of us in our wigs and thanked me for reuniting, and explained it rekindles a fresh spirit for many occasions. It’s delightful to witness my best friend live a happier existence. I’m right there with her.
