Naveen Jain: Envisioning
Naveen Jain has been known in the business circle as someone with very respectable business acumen; someone who has worked hard to be able to achieve everything that he has achieved in his illustrious career. He is known as a man who sees potential in every little idea that comes to his mind. He continuously works hard to realize and maximize these potential. Naveen Jain is a visionary; a business wizard capable of envisioning and making ideas happen, even those that are too petty to be even bothered with.
Proof to this is the two successful companies that he founded ever since he left Microsoft Corporation and tried entrepreneurship: InfoSpace in 1996 and Intelius Inc. in 2003. Before doing everything on his own, Naveen Jain trained and jumpstarted his career at Microsoft Corporation, where he worked with another visionary, Bill Gates. There, he experienced the thrills of working in the IT industry. He led many projects while he was with the company, including the launching of several operating systems and applications. The most notable among these is the launching of the Microsoft Network where Naveen Jain served as the project’s group manager.
In 1996, he founded InfoSpace, a company providing online search engines and Internet directory. The company was successful to the point that companies and websites such as MSN, Lycos, AOL and Go Network partnered with InfoSpace in order to use the Infocommerce company’s technology.
After InfoSpace, Naveen Jain went on to found Intelius, where he continues to serve as the company president and CEO. Intelius is a dream come true for Naveen Jain. He envisioned many years ago that he would somehow make it big in the IT industry and his long and memorable career is a living statement of how truly visionary and revolutionary Naveen Jain is and will always be.
